Take Clean Screenshots Without Your Hand in Frame

Enable First-Person View

Switch to first-person mode by pressing F5 (or your configured camera key) once. Your character's arm and held items will be hidden by No Hand Shaders, leaving only the world visible.

Position Your Shot

Navigate to the location you want to photograph. Look around freely—without your hand blocking the view, you'll see a much wider and clearer perspective of blocks, mobs, and landscape.

Capture the Screenshot

Press F2 (default) to take a screenshot. The image will be saved to your screenshots folder with no arm, hand, or held item visible.

Optional: Adjust Lighting

If you want better lighting for your shot, consider the time of day or use torches and other light sources. No Hand Shaders preserves vanilla lighting, so natural and artificial light work as normal.

Tips

  • Move to high ground or use blocks to reach better vantage points
  • Take multiple shots from different angles
  • The shader works in any lighting condition, including night and caves
