Enable Rare Mob Alerts and Customize Notifications

Locate the Alerts Settings

Open the No Frills Mod configuration and find the Alerts or Notifications section. This is where rare mob detection is controlled.

Turn On Rare Mob Detection

Enable the rare mob alert feature. This will monitor mobs around you and notify you when a rare spawn appears—such as special slayer mobs, event creatures, or high-value targets. The mod will typically display a chat message, sound, or on-screen notification.

Customize Alert Types

Depending on your preference, you can usually toggle between sound alerts, chat messages, or visual indicators. Some players prefer sound-only alerts so they can continue farming without screen clutter; others want visual confirmation.

Set Your Alert Range

If the mod allows, adjust the detection radius so you're notified of rare mobs within a useful distance—far enough to react, but not so far that you're distracted by distant spawns. Test the range during normal gameplay to find your sweet spot.
