Protect Your Farmland While Wearing Heavy Armor

Use Feather Falling Enchantment

If you're wearing heavy armor and constantly trampling your crops while walking through your farm, enchant your boots with Feather Falling. This is the primary method to prevent farmland destruction.

Steps:

1. Obtain Feather Falling enchantment books (found in End cities, purchased from librarians, or via enchanting table)

2. Use an anvil to apply Feather Falling to your boots

3. Any level of Feather Falling (I, II, III, or IV) will protect farmland from trampling

4. Walk freely through your crops—they will no longer break

Alternative: Use Slow Falling

If you don't want to enchant boots, you can drink a Slow Falling potion before entering your farm.

Steps:

1. Brew Slow Falling potions using a brewing stand (requires Phantom membrane)

2. Drink the potion before walking through farmland

3. While the effect is active, your footsteps won't trample crops

4. The effect will wear off after the potion duration expires

Feather Falling is the more permanent solution for frequent farm work, while Slow Falling is useful for temporary protection during specific tasks.
