Verify Endermen Stop Picking Up Blocks

Check the Data Pack is Active

When you load a world with this data pack installed, Endermen will no longer pick up blocks from your builds. To confirm it's working:

1. Find an Enderman in the Overworld (they spawn in most biomes at night or in dark areas)

2. Observe the Enderman from a distance — it should not be holding any blocks

3. If an Enderman approaches your structures, watch to ensure it does not remove or carry away any blocks

What to Expect

Endermen will still teleport, attack, and move around normally. They simply cannot grab blocks like dirt, grass, sand, or other pickupable materials. This means your carefully placed blocks remain exactly where you built them, even if Endermen wander through your base or structures.

If you see an Enderman holding a block after enabling this data pack, the pack may not be properly loaded. Check that it appears in your world's data pack list and is positioned above any conflicting packs.
