Prevent Accidental Crop Trampling While Farming

How Crop Protection Works

When you jump or fall onto farmland with a growing crop, the mod automatically applies a brief feather falling effect to your character. This reduces your fall velocity enough that the crop won't break, even if you land directly on it.

Farming Safely

You can now move freely through your crop fields without worrying about destroying plants:

1. Jump over rows - Walk or jump across your farmland as normal. The feather falling effect activates automatically when you're about to land on a crop.

2. Harvest without fear - Move between plants to collect mature crops without accidentally trampling nearby growing ones.

3. Work at night - Check on your fields in low light without the stress of precision footwork.

What Still Happens

Note that the mod only protects *growing* crops. Once you harvest a crop, the farmland block remains but has no crop on it—landing on empty farmland will still convert it to dirt as in vanilla Minecraft. Keep your farming area organized to minimize damage to bare farmland blocks.
