Nippon Universal Script Mod intentionally preserves certain text in English to maintain clarity and prevent confusion:

• Firearm and ammunition model numbers (e.g., "AK-47", "9mm") remain unchanged
• Mod names and creative tab names stay in English for easy searching and identification
• Music titles, artist names, and painting credits keep original text
• Keybinds and control labels remain in their original form
• Internal code identifiers are not translated
• Pop culture references stay as originally written
• Roman numerals, units of measurement, and online service names are preserved

Why This Design Choice

This approach ensures players can still search for items by their English names, identify mods in mod lists, and understand technical references without confusion. Translated tooltips and descriptions work seamlessly around these preserved elements, creating a hybrid interface that balances accessibility with functionality.
