Troubleshoot Missing or Partial Translations
Confirm the Mod Is Loaded
If you're not seeing Japanese text where you expect it:
1. Verify the mod file is in your mods folder (not in a subfolder)
2. Restart Minecraft completely—the mod loads when the game starts
3. Check that your language setting is still set to 日本語 (Japanese) in Options > Language
Check Mod Support Status
Not all mods are translated yet. If a specific mod shows only English text:
- That mod may not be included in the current translation pack
- The mod updates regularly to add new mod coverage, so unsupported mods may be added in future updates
- You can still use untranslated mods normally alongside translated ones
Verify Item Tooltips and Guidebooks
Open your inventory and hover over items from mods you expect to be translated. Guidebook entries (if the mod includes them) should display Japanese text. If tooltips show Japanese but guidebooks don't (or vice versa), that's normal—different mod features may have different translation coverage.
