How to Use Nico's 3D Ladders Resource Pack

Installing and Applying the Pack

Nico's 3D Ladders Resource Pack is a visual-only resource pack, so it changes how ladders look without altering any gameplay mechanics. To use it, place the pack file in your resource packs folder and enable it from the in-game resource pack menu. Because it only affects ladder models and textures, it can be combined with other packs that modify unrelated blocks, though you may need to adjust pack order if another pack also changes ladders.

What Changes In-Game

Once enabled, ladders no longer appear as flat, paper-thin planes against walls. Instead, they use a full 3D model, so the rungs and rails have visible depth and pop out from the surface they are attached to. This makes ladders read as physical objects rather than painted-on decals, which is most noticeable in detailed builds, tight spaces, or areas where ladders are a focal point. No crafting, placement, or climbing behavior is affected.
