Layer New Hearts with Other Resource Packs

Understanding Pack Priority

Resource packs stack in order—packs listed higher in your pack menu override those below them. To use New Hearts alongside other packs, you need to control which textures take priority.

Setting Up Pack Order

In your resource packs menu, arrange packs so that:

• New Hearts sits above packs that modify the HUD or UI
• Other packs sit above New Hearts if they modify blocks, mobs, or items you want to keep

This ensures the pastel hearts display while preserving other visual changes.

Testing Compatibility

Load into a world and check your health bar. If hearts appear wrong or other textures vanish:

• Reorder the packs and reload (F3 + T)
• Check that no other pack also modifies textures/gui/hearts
• Verify both packs are enabled

Most packs don't touch hearts, so New Hearts typically works without conflicts. If issues persist, try disabling other packs one at a time to identify the culprit.
