Hearts in Survival and Adventure Modes

New Hearts displays consistently in Survival and Adventure modes since both use the standard health system. Your pastel hearts will appear normally as you take damage and heal. No special configuration is needed.

Creative Mode Considerations

In Creative mode, the health bar is typically hidden or disabled by default. If you've enabled it via mods or settings, New Hearts will still apply its textures. The pack doesn't interfere with Creative mechanics—it only changes the visual appearance.

Hardcore Mode Behavior

Hardcore mode uses the same health display as Survival, so New Hearts works without issues. The pastel hearts will show your health normally, and the pack won't affect permadeath mechanics.

Spectator Mode

Spectator mode removes the health bar entirely, so New Hearts has no visible effect. This is expected behavior and not a compatibility issue.
