Find and Play Music from Specific Resource Packs

Understand Namespace Organization

The mod automatically sorts your music by namespace, which corresponds to the resource packs you have loaded. Each resource pack has its own namespace, making it easy to find music from specific sources.

Browse by Namespace

Open the music player and look for the namespace filter or sorting option. You'll see a list of all loaded resource packs with music. Select a namespace to view only tracks from that resource pack.

Preview Before Adding

Many players organize their resource packs thematically—one for ambient music, one for combat, one for exploration. Browse each namespace to understand what mood or style each pack provides.

Create Themed Playlists

Once you've identified which namespaces fit your playstyle, create playlists that pull from specific packs. For example, combine all ambient tracks from one namespace with exploration music from another.

Switch Between Packs

If you load or unload resource packs, the mod updates automatically. New namespaces appear in the player, and removed packs disappear from your available music—though existing playlists using those tracks may need adjustment.
