Using Fireproof Shulker Boxes to Store Valuables

Setting Up Protected Storage

In versions 1.18 and later, you can enchant Shulker Boxes with Fireproof. This protects all items stored inside from burning, making it ideal for keeping valuables safe during dangerous trips.

How to Use Fireproof Shulker Boxes

1. Enchant a Shulker Box with Fireproof at an enchanting table or with an enchanted book

2. Fill it with your most valuable items—diamonds, enchanted gear, rare materials

3. Carry it in your inventory or place it nearby during exploration

4. If you die in fire or lava, the box and its contents survive intact

Pro Tips

Color-code your Shulker Boxes by enchanting different colors with Fireproof—use one for tools, another for valuables, and another for building blocks. This keeps your inventory organized while ensuring maximum protection for items that matter most.
