What Gear Drops from Vaults

Ominous Vaults can drop complete Netherite armor pieces (helmets, chestplates, leggings, boots) and tools/weapons (swords, axes, pickaxes). These items come as finished gear, not raw materials, making vault exploration valuable for gearing up quickly.

Drop Rarity and Expectations

Finished gear has lower drop weights than raw materials, so expect to find more Netherite Scraps than complete tools. However, each vault opening gives every item an independent chance, so persistent exploration will eventually reward you with gear pieces.

Using Vault Gear

Gear found in vaults may or may not be enchanted—this depends on the vault's loot table configuration. Check what you receive and compare it to gear you'd craft or find elsewhere. Vault drops are meant to supplement your normal progression, not replace crafting entirely.
