What Neruina Actually Does When Something Crashes
Neruina is a safety net. Instead of letting a single misbehaving mob, block, or item take down your whole world, it isolates the culprit and keeps the game running.
What Gets Suspended
- Mobs that cause a ticking crash are frozen in place. You can still right-click or interact with them, but you cannot attack them until the issue is cleared.
- Blocks and block entities stop ticking, so they no longer run their update logic. Their inventories remain accessible, so you can still take items out.
- Items stop causing crashes while sitting in an inventory, but they still work fine in crafting recipes.
- Players whose own actions trigger a ticking crash are kicked from the server so everyone else stays online.
Why This Matters
Without this kind of protection, one broken entity or block entity can corrupt your save or force a hard crash every time you load in. Neruina remembers every ticking issue it has seen, so you get a running list rather than a one-time popup. That list is your to-do list: teleport to each entry, deal with the cause, and confirm it stops reappearing. Copy the crash info to your
clipboard if you need to report it to a mod author or server admin.
