How to Find and Fix a Ticking Crash with Neruina

When something in your world starts throwing ticking errors, Neruina catches it and logs the problem instead of letting the game die. Your job is to find that log entry and act on it.

Locating the Reported Issue

Open the Neruina issue list (usually surfaced through its in-game commands or config screen). Each entry shows what kind of thing is misbehaving — a mob, a block, a block entity, or an item — plus its coordinates or owner. Use the built-in action to teleport straight to the problem's location so you don't have to hunt through the world manually.

Resolving It

Once you're standing at the source:

  • For a suspended mob, use the kill action from the issue menu. You can still walk up and interact with it, but attacking normally won't work while it's suspended.
  • For a faulty block or block entity, you can still open its inventory and pull items out before breaking it.
  • For a crashing item sitting in a chest or your inventory, move it out or use it in a crafting recipe — it just can't tick in a way that crashes you.

After clearing the cause, the entry should stop re-triggering. If it comes back, the underlying mod or setup is still broken and needs a different fix.
