How to Keep Bees Alive in the Nether and the End

Why bees get stuck in other dimensions

In vanilla Minecraft, bees placed in the Nether or the End often refuse to leave their hive. They sit inside, never emerge, and eventually the hive stops producing anything useful. This mod changes that behavior so bees exit their hives normally in both dimensions, which means you can finally set up working apiaries away from the Overworld.

Setting up a hive outside the Overworld

1. Craft or obtain a bee nest or bee hive and place it wherever you want it in the Nether or End.

2. Bring bees with you using a bee nest that already has bees inside, or lead bees through a portal if your setup allows it.

3. With this mod installed they should fly out on their own instead of staying trapped.

4. Give the bees flowers nearby so they have something to pollinate. Without flowers they will still leave the hive but will not produce honey or breed.

Things to watch out for

Bees are still vulnerable in these dimensions. In the Nether, lava and hostile mobs will kill them quickly, so build an enclosed area with flowers and a roof. In the End, watch for void falls if your platform has open edges. The mod fixes the hive-exit behavior, not the hazards of the dimension itself, so plan your build accordingly.
