Find and Manage Your Gear Efficiently

Looting Strategy

Gear is scattered throughout the ruined city in chests, buildings, and sometimes dropped by zombies. Prioritize exploring buildings near your spawn point and along the main path marked by mission objectives.

Always carry a pickaxe or tool to break through blocked doors and debris. Check every accessible building systematically—don't skip areas, as rare armor and weapons are often hidden in less obvious locations.

Inventory Management

You have limited space, so prioritize what you carry. Keep your best weapon equipped and one backup. Prioritize armor over extra food early on—protection prevents damage better than healing after the fact.

Drop items you don't need immediately to make room for better gear. Mark locations where you leave supplies so you can retrieve them later if needed.

Upgrading Your Equipment

As you progress, replace lower-tier armor and weapons with better versions. Equip full armor sets when possible for maximum protection. Keep healing items accessible in your hotbar for quick use during combat.

If you find multiple weapon types, experiment to learn which feels most effective against the zombies you encounter. Different situations may require different tools.
