How to Tell Whether the Yellow Glint Pack Is Actually Loaded

Quick visual test

The fastest check is to enchant any item and view it against a dark background, like inside a cave or at night. The default glint is purple; this pack replaces it with a darker yellow nebula shimmer. If you still see purple, the pack is not active.

Step-by-step verification

1. Open Options → Resource Packs and confirm the pack appears in the Selected column on the right, not the Available column on the left.

2. Click Done and let the game reload textures. A brief freeze or screen flash is normal.

3. Enchant a cheap item at an enchanting table, or use an already-enchanted piece of gear from your inventory.

4. Hold it and rotate it slowly. The shimmer should sweep across the item in yellow, not purple.

5. If you raised Glint Strength in Accessibility Settings, the effect will be more obvious — good for confirming it loaded.

Common reasons it looks unloaded

Another pack above it in the list is supplying the glint texture. Shaders that rewrite enchantment rendering can also hide it. Remove or reorder those and test again.
