How to Make the Yellow Nebula Glint Show Up More Strongly on Enchanted Gear
Why the glint can look faint
The nebula glint is a texture swap, so its visibility depends on the item's base texture, the light level around you, and your client's glint settings. On dark armor or in a dim cave, the yellow shimmer can read as a dull brown instead of a glowing nebula. Before you assume the pack is broken, check these three things.
Steps to boost visibility
1. Open Options → Accessibility Settings and look for the Glint Strength slider. Raising it makes the enchantment shimmer render more prominently on every enchanted item. This is the single biggest change you can make.
2. If you use a shader pack, switch to one that preserves vanilla glint rendering, or disable the shader temporarily to confirm the pack is loading at all.
3. Move to a brighter area or hold the item so a light source hits it. The yellow glint is designed to pop in low light, but it still needs some contrast against the item texture.
4. Test on a diamond or netherite item first. Bright base textures show the nebula pattern more clearly than dark leather or chainmail.
If it still looks wrong
Make sure no other resource pack is loaded above this one in the pack list, since a higher pack's glint texture will override it. Only one glint texture can win per item.
