How to See the Green Nebula Glint Clearly in Dark Areas

Why Lighting Matters

The nebula glint is a dark green effect, so it blends into bright, busy backgrounds. To make it pop, view your enchanted items against dark surroundings where the green contrast stands out.

Set Up a Viewing Spot

Dig into a cave or build a small unlit room. Place your enchanted item in an item frame on a wall, or hold it in your hand while standing in shadow. Avoid placing torches or lanterns right next to it — light washes out the nebula detail.

Use the Right Angles

Rotate the item slowly in your hand or move around the item frame. The nebula effect shifts as the glint animates, so different angles reveal more of the cosmic texture. Armor worn on your character is easiest to inspect by looking down at your own body in a dark space.

Compare With Vanilla

If you want to appreciate the difference, temporarily disable the pack and view the same item under the same lighting. The standard purple glint is much brighter and flatter, which is why the green nebula reads as more subtle and deep.

Tips for Screenshots

Turn off your hand-held light sources, lower your brightness setting slightly, and frame the item against stone or deepslate for the strongest contrast.
