How to Make Your Enchanted Gear Glow Green Instead of Purple

Confirm the Pack Is Active

Before troubleshooting, verify the resource pack is actually loaded. Open Options → Resource Packs and check that Nebula Glint Green sits in the *Selected* column on the right. If it is still on the left, click its arrow to move it over, then click Done. The change applies instantly — no world reload needed.

Check Pack Order

If another resource pack also edits the enchantment glint texture, the two will conflict. Packs higher in the *Selected* list override lower ones. Drag Nebula Glint Green above any other glint-modifying pack so its green nebula wins. Vanilla-style packs that don't touch glint can stay anywhere.

Verify In-Game

Hold an enchanted item or wear enchanted armor and look at it in a dim area — the nebula effect reads best in low light. If you still see the vanilla purple shimmer, the pack is either disabled, overridden, or your game needs a restart to refresh cached textures. Fully close and relaunch Minecraft, then recheck.

What It Does and Doesn't Change

This pack only swaps the glint texture. Enchantment levels, effects, and mechanics are untouched, so you can use it on any enchanted gear without affecting gameplay.
