Import a Skin from a File or URL

Adding a Skin to Your Library

You can bring skins into NCL Skins Mod from your computer or the internet without leaving the game.

From a Local File

1. Open the appearance menu from the Main Menu or Pause Screen by clicking your player character

2. Select Create New Look or edit an existing preset

3. In the 3D editor, find the import option for skins

4. Choose Import from File and browse to your PNG skin file

5. The skin will load into the preview instantly

From a Web Link or Player Name

1. Open the look editor and select the skin import tool

2. Choose Import from URL and paste a direct link to a PNG skin file, or select Import from Player and enter a username or UUID

3. The mod will fetch the skin and display it in your preview

4. Adjust outer layers and arm model if needed, then save your look

Avoiding Duplicates

Before importing, the mod can scan your library and filter out skins you already own. This keeps your gallery organized and prevents clutter when bulk-importing collections.
