How to Use NBT Autocomplete When Summoning a Mob with Custom Properties

Summon a mob and let autocomplete fill in the NBT

Start by typing /summon followed by the entity ID you want, then open a curly brace {. As soon as the brace is open, the mod begins suggesting NBT tags that are valid for that specific entity. Use the arrow keys to scroll through the suggestions and press Tab or Enter to insert the highlighted one.

For example, typing /summon minecraft:zombie { will surface tags like IsBaby, CanBreakDoors, Health, and CustomName. Pick IsBaby and the mod will offer the correct value type (a byte, so 1b or 0b). This is where the mod saves the most time — you no longer need to remember whether a tag wants a byte, an int, or a string.

Chain multiple tags without losing your place

After inserting one tag and its value, type a comma , inside the braces. The suggestion list refreshes with the remaining valid tags for that entity, so you can keep building the NBT compound in one pass. If a tag expects a nested compound (like ArmorItems or Attributes), the mod will suggest the opening brace and then the inner keys.

If a suggestion does not appear, check that you have not misspelled the entity ID — autocomplete only knows tags for entities the game recognizes. Close the command with a matching } and run it.
