Repositioning Nametags

By default, nametags appear directly above entities. The mod lets you adjust the vertical position to reduce overlap or improve readability in crowded areas.

Changing Height Offset

1. Access the Nametag Tweaks configuration file

2. Look for the height offset or vertical position setting

3. Modify the value:

• Increase the offset to move nametags higher above entities
• Decrease the offset to move them closer
• Use decimal values for fine-tuning

4. Save and reload your world to see changes

Practical Uses

Adjusting offset is especially helpful when:

• Multiple entities are stacked or close together
• You're using mods that add tall blocks or structures
• You want nametags visible without obscuring the entity itself
• Playing in first-person mode where nametags might block your view
