Exploring Battle Towers

Battle Towers generate in the world as tall dungeon structures, similar to how other dungeon structures spawn naturally. Each tower is built from multiple floors, so you climb or descend through them one level at a time rather than clearing a single room.

Inside, floors are populated with monster spawners that continuously produce hostile mobs. Chests are scattered through the tower and hold loot, giving you a reason to fight through each level instead of rushing past. Expect combat on every floor as you work your way up or down.

At the top of the tower waits the guardian boss: a Wither Skeleton that is stronger than a normal one. It has a larger health pool and can shoot fireballs at you, so it fights at range as well as in melee. Bring good gear and be ready to dodge. Defeating the guardian is the goal of each tower, and the loot inside rewards the effort.
