Reorder Resource Packs to Control Which Textures Display
Understanding Pack Priority
When multiple resource packs are active, the mod determines which textures appear based on pack order. Lower packs override higher ones—the bottom pack "wins."
Reordering Steps
1. Open the mod's pack management interface.
2. Locate the pack priority list—packs are usually displayed in a vertical stack.
3. Select a pack and move it up or down using the mod's drag-and-drop or arrow buttons.
4. Test your changes in-game by looking at blocks or items affected by multiple packs.
5. Adjust until your preferred textures appear—if your custom texture pack isn't showing, move it lower in the list.
Common Setup
A typical order from top to bottom:
- Default Minecraft textures (top)
- Server resource pack (middle)
- Your personal texture pack (bottom/highest priority)
This ensures your preferred look takes precedence while still loading server-required custom items.
