Prevent Servers From Replacing Default Minecraft Textures

Why This Matters

Servers sometimes replace standard Minecraft textures (dirt, stone, tools, etc.) with custom versions you don't want. The mod lets you protect your defaults.

Blocking Unwanted Replacements

1. Open the mod's configuration or pack settings.

2. Find the option to lock or protect default textures—this may be labeled "Preserve Defaults," "Lock Vanilla," or similar.

3. Enable protection for default Minecraft assets.

4. Alternatively, use the manual override feature: open the server pack's resource list, find entries for standard blocks/items (dirt, stone, wooden planks, etc.), and disable them individually.

5. Rejoin the server or reload packs to confirm changes take effect.

Result

Default Minecraft textures remain unchanged, while the server's custom items and blocks still function. Your world looks like vanilla Minecraft with only the server's new content visible.
