Create a Custom Override to Mix Textures From Multiple Packs

Mixing Packs Selectively

You can combine textures from different sources—keep some from the server pack, some from your personal pack, and some from defaults.

Setting Up Custom Overrides

1. Access the mod's override or priority system.

2. Identify which specific resources you want from each pack (e.g., server's custom sword texture, your personal dirt texture, default stone).

3. Use the mod's granular control to enable/disable resources by type or individual asset.

4. Test in-game to verify the correct textures appear.

5. Save your configuration so it persists across server rejoins.

Example Workflow

  • Server pack: enabled for custom items only
  • Personal texture pack: enabled for all blocks and tools
  • Defaults: used for anything not covered above

Tip

If the mod supports configuration files, you can edit them directly for more precise control. Check the mod's documentation for the config file location and format.
