How to Stop Players from Bringing Items Between Worlds
The Isolation Approach
If your goal is to prevent any item crossover between two worlds, the simplest method is to leave both worlds out of any shared group. Multiverse-Inventories isolates worlds by default, so as long as you haven't grouped them together, players will have completely separate inventories in each.
Verifying Your Setup
1. Run /mvinv group list to see all existing groups and which worlds belong to them.
2. If you see the worlds you want isolated inside a group, remove them with /mvinv group remove <groupname> <worldname>.
3. Confirm with /mvinv info <worldname> to check that world's current sharing status.
Once a world is not part of any group, players entering it will receive a fresh inventory slot set, and anything they were carrying in the other world stays behind.
When You Want Partial Isolation
Sometimes you want items to stay separate but health or hunger to carry over. In that case, create a group containing both worlds, then disable inventory sharing for that group while leaving other options enabled. This gives you fine-grained control — for example, a PvP arena world where players keep their hunger bar but must use arena-provided gear.
Important Notes
Isolation applies per-player. Each player has their own stored inventory for each world or group, so nothing is lost — it's simply parked until they return to that world.
