Setting Up Two Keys for the Same Action (Movement Example)

Why Duplicate Movement Keys

A common use case is keeping the default WASD layout while also binding arrow keys, so you can switch hands or play comfortably on a different setup. Multi Key Bindings lets both sets drive the same movement actions at once.

Step by Step

1. Open Options... → Controls... from the pause menu.

2. Locate Forward, Left, Back, and Right in the movement section.

3. Click Forward, then press the up arrow key. The entry now lists both W and the up arrow.

4. Repeat for Left (left arrow), Back (down arrow), and Right (right arrow).

5. If you also want Jump and Sneak on alternate keys, add those the same way.

Check for Conflicts

Before leaving the menu, scan the list for any key shown in red or flagged as conflicting. If your new key is already used elsewhere, either remove it from the other action or pick a different key. Click Done and test in-world: pressing either key for a direction should move you. Because the mod supports multiple assignments per action, you do not lose the original bindings when adding the new ones.
