Fixing Keybind Conflicts After Adding Multiple Keys

Spot the Conflict

After you add extra keys, the controls menu may highlight an entry in red or show a warning that a key is already in use. This happens when the key you assigned is also bound to a different action. Because Multi Key Bindings allows several keys per action, it is easy to accidentally reuse a key that another action already owns.

Resolve It

1. Note which two actions share the key.

2. Decide which action should keep it, then click the other action's entry.

3. Press a different key for that action, or press the key you want to remove so it is no longer listed.

4. Re-check the list until no entries are flagged.

Avoid Future Conflicts

Keep a mental map of your most-used keys before assigning extras. Reserve a small cluster of keys for alternate bindings and reuse them consistently across related actions. If a conflict persists, use the reset button on the affected action to return it to default, then re-add your extra keys one at a time so you can see exactly which assignment causes the clash. Saving with Done only keeps non-conflicting bindings reliably, so clear warnings before you exit the menu.
