Efficiently Gather Resources from Multiple Biomes
Create a Resource Route
Map out a walking path that touches each biome you need. Start near your base and move systematically around the island rather than backtracking. Bring a pickaxe, axe, and shovel so you're ready for any block type you encounter.
Prioritize Rare Blocks Early
Focus first on blocks that are hard to find in normal survival: ice from snow biomes, sand and sandstone from deserts, and jungle wood from jungle areas. These enable crafting and building options you'd normally need to travel thousands of blocks to access.
Use Biome Transitions Strategically
Where two biomes meet, you often find mixed resources. These transition zones are goldmines—you might find both forest and desert blocks in the same small area. Spend extra time harvesting at these boundaries.
Organize Your Inventory
Bring multiple storage items or plan multiple trips. Since biomes are close together, it's faster to make several short runs than to overload yourself and move slowly. Store gathered materials in chests at your base organized by biome type for easy reference later.
