Understanding the Sound Pack

This resource pack includes custom audio for CP 2600 locomotives and ARCO coaches. Sounds cover engine startup, acceleration, deceleration, coupling, and station announcements. These audio elements activate automatically during train operation.

Locomotive Sound Events

The CP 2600 produces authentic electric motor sounds reflecting its 25 kV pantograph system. You'll hear traction sounds during acceleration and regenerative braking sounds when slowing. Coupling and uncoupling sounds play when attaching or detaching coaches.

Coach and Station Ambiance

ARCO coaches include interior ambient sounds like air conditioning systems and subtle passenger noise. Station sounds include door chimes and departure announcements in Portuguese, enhancing immersion.

Audio Settings
