Understanding car numbering

The DKZ7 train model includes realistic car numbers displayed on the exterior of each passenger car. These numbers identify individual cars in the consist and add authenticity to your metro line.

Setting train car identifiers

Access the train's configuration menu through the MTR3 interface. Look for options to assign or customize the train's car numbers. You can typically:

• Set a base number for the first car
• Configure how many cars are in the consist
• Adjust numbering sequences if the pack supports it

The exterior numbers will automatically update based on your configuration.

Organizing multiple trains

If you operate several DKZ7 trains on different lines, assign distinct car numbers to each train. This helps players identify which train they're boarding and creates a more realistic transit system.

Common numbering schemes follow real-world metro systems—for example, consecutive numbers for cars in the same train, or different number ranges for different lines.

Verification

Spawn your configured train and view it from the platform. The car numbers should be clearly visible on the side of each car. Adjust lighting if numbers are hard to read in certain conditions.
