Customize train appearance with different paint schemes and roof equipment
Choosing paint variants
The CP 3150 and 3250 series offer pre-2010 green stripe livery or modern standard colors. The CP 2300 includes a graffiti variant for urban realism, while the CP 2412 features its original pre-2010 paint style. Select variants when placing train units to match your network's era or aesthetic.
Selecting pantograph types
Trailer cars come with three roof equipment options: 5-block diamond pantographs, 6-block diamond pantographs, or Z-shaped pantographs. Diamond types are classic; Z-shaped variants represent modernization. Mix these across your fleet for visual authenticity—older lines might use diamonds while newer routes use Z-shapes.
Applying variants consistently
Decide on a livery scheme for each line or service type. Keeping all units on one route in matching paint creates a cohesive network. Use the graffiti CP 2300 sparingly for character, perhaps on a secondary line or urban branch, rather than throughout your entire system.
