Build a realistic Lisbon suburban station with correct train platforms
Planning your station layout
Lisbon suburban trains run on standard gauge track. Before placing platforms, decide which train series you'll operate—CP 3150/3250 or CP 2300/2400—since they have slightly different dimensions. Check the mod's train model screenshots to gauge platform length; a 4-car unit needs more space than a single cab.
Setting up platforms and track
Use the MTR3 rail system to lay your main line. Position platform blocks at the correct height so train doors align with passenger access points. The resource pack includes detailed interior seating layouts, so passengers will board realistically if your platform height matches the train car body.
Add overhead catenary structures to support the pantographs. You can choose between diamond-shaped or Z-shaped pantograph variants depending on which train series you're using—mix them for visual variety across different lines.
Adding station details
Place LED display blocks to show train status (the pack includes a "NOT IN SERVICE" variant). Add signage using the Portuguese suburban network aesthetic. Consider building a station building nearby with ticket halls and waiting areas to complete the immersion.
