Build an underground metro station with Zatopinsk trains
Excavating the station box
Dig out a large underground chamber to accommodate your station platform and train length. Leave enough vertical clearance for the train model to pass through without clipping into the ceiling. The Zatopinsk trains are sized for standard MTR compatibility, so follow MTR's recommended tunnel dimensions.
Constructing the platform
Build a raised platform along one or both sides of the track. Use stairs and slabs to create safe boarding areas at the correct height for passenger entry. Add handrails using fence blocks or iron bars to match the interior cabin details shown in the pack's screenshots.
Installing lighting and atmosphere
Place lighting fixtures throughout the station to match the custom cabin lighting shown in the resource pack. Use a mix of light sources to create realistic underground ambiance. Add signage, tiled walls, and structural supports to enhance the metro aesthetic.
Testing train operations
Run your Zatopinsk train through the station at normal speed. Verify that doors align properly with the platform and that the train stops smoothly. Adjust platform height or track positioning if needed to ensure seamless passenger boarding.
