How to Summon and Beat the Sunbird (Eye of Sunbird)

Finding the Sunbird's Temple

The Eye of Sunbird summons the Sunbird, a fiery avian boss. Its arena generates in desert or savanna biomes as a large temple-like structure with a central brazier or pedestal. Approach the structure during the day, as the Sunbird is associated with sunlight. Clear any nearby hostile mobs before you start the ritual.

The Fight and Rewards

Right-click the central pedestal with the Eye of Sunbird to summon the boss. The Sunbird flies and dives at you, leaving trails of fire. Use a bow or crossbow to hit it while it's airborne, and dodge its dive attacks by strafing sideways. Fire resistance potions are highly recommended. When the Sunbird lands, switch to melee for extra damage. After defeating it, you'll receive sun-themed loot, including materials for crafting unique weapons or armor. The Eye of Sunbird is consumed upon summoning, so make sure you're prepared before activating it. Bring backup gear in case you die and need to craft another eye.
