Move Minecarts Mod lets you relocate a minecart while keeping it intact, so you never have to break and re-craft one just to shift it a few blocks.

To pick up a cart, crouch and right-click it. The cart is now held, and you can walk to wherever you want it to go. To set it down, stand up and crouch once — the cart is released at that spot.

The mod works with every minecart type, so the same two-step input handles ordinary carts, chest carts, hopper carts, and the rest. TNT carts are included too, so treat them carefully: moving one does not make it any safer than it was on the rails.

This is handy for builders laying out rail lines, redstone engineers repositioning carts at stations, and survival players who want to rearrange a track without losing the cart they already own.
