Keep Your Horse Stationary While You Explore

Dismount and Leave Your Mount Behind

When you've traveled to a location and want to explore on foot, simply dismount your horse by pressing the dismount key (default: Shift). With Mounts Stay Still Mod installed, your horse will remain exactly where you left it—no wandering, no drifting away.

Return to Your Mount

Your mount will be waiting in the same spot when you return, even if you've been exploring for a long time. This eliminates the frustration of losing your horse in a cave system or while gathering resources nearby.

Why This Matters

Without this mod, horses naturally wander after being dismounted, making it easy to lose track of them. This mod removes that behavior entirely, so you can confidently leave your mount behind while you mine, build, or adventure without worry. Simply dismount, explore freely, and your horse stays put.
