How Moss Fix Mod Changes Moss Growth

Moss Growth Under Transparent Blocks

Moss Fix Mod improves how moss blocks behave when other blocks are nearby. In vanilla Minecraft, moss spreading and bonemeal use are blocked when a solid block sits directly above the moss. This mod changes that limitation.

With Moss Fix Mod installed, moss can spread and grow beneath transparent blocks such as glass and chests. This means you can place glass over a moss patch for decoration without stopping the moss from expanding underneath it. Chests placed on top of moss no longer prevent growth either.

Bonemeal also works differently. You can now use bonemeal on a moss block even when a block is directly above it. The mod keeps the existing moss growth mechanics intact while removing the restrictions that made moss harder to use in tight or covered spaces. This makes moss more practical for builds where you want growth in enclosed or decorated areas.
