Morning Glory Mod: How Cat Gifts Work

Expanded Morning Gifts from Cats

Morning Glory Mod is a small, single-purpose mod that changes one thing: the gifts your pet cats bring you in the morning. In vanilla Minecraft, a tamed cat sleeping on its owner's bed can leave a morning gift, but the loot pool is limited and valuable drops like phantom membranes are rare.

This mod expands that morning gift loot, so cats can deliver a wider range of items when you wake up. It also raises the chance of receiving valuable items, with phantom membranes specifically called out as an example. The result is that keeping a pet cat becomes a more rewarding part of a survival playthrough, since the daily gift is more likely to be something worth having.

The mod does not add new pet commands or taming steps; it enhances the existing morning gift mechanic. If you already keep cats for companionship or creeper deterrence, this mod simply makes their morning deliveries more useful.
