How to Scroll Recipe Books and Creative Tabs Faster

The mod adds page scrolling to the recipe book, so you can move through recipe pages with your mouse wheel instead of hunting for the small arrow buttons. Hover over the recipe book area and scroll to flip pages quickly when you are searching for a specific recipe.

Scroll creative inventory tabs

Creative mode tabs also gain page scrolling. When a creative tab has more items than fit on one page, scroll over the tab's item grid to page through the contents rather than clicking the page arrows. This makes browsing large modded creative tabs far less tedious.

Combine with search

Scrolling pairs well with the search box. Type a partial name to narrow the list, then scroll to page through the remaining results. This is much faster than paging blindly through an entire tab.

If scrolling does nothing

If the wheel has no effect, make sure your cursor is actually over the recipe book or creative grid, not the surrounding GUI. Some screens only respond when the pointer is inside the scrollable region. Also check your config, since scroll behavior can be adjusted or disabled there.
