How to Crawl Through Tight Spaces

Entering Crawl Mode

Activate crawling by pressing your crawl keybind while standing on the ground. Your character will drop to all fours and enter a crawling animation. This mode is perfect for navigating narrow passages and exploring tight underground areas.

Crawling Through 1-Block Holes

The main advantage of crawling is that you can fit through spaces that would normally require you to crouch or dig. A single-block-high hole is passable while crawling—something impossible in vanilla Minecraft. This opens up new exploration routes in caves and custom maps.

Movement and Exiting

While crawling, you move slower than walking but faster than swimming. Press your crawl keybind again to stand up and return to normal movement. You can also stand up by jumping or moving into a space too small for crawling.
