Defensive Setup

Werewolves are aggressive hunters with advanced anti-kite AI, meaning they won't give up chase easily and will pursue you relentlessly. Before engaging, fortify your position:

• Build or find a structure with multiple rooms and doorways to break line of sight
• Stock healing items and food in accessible chests
• Clear a wide area around your base to prevent surprise attacks from the darkness
• Consider building elevated platforms—werewolves may struggle with vertical terrain

Combat Readiness

Both Moonborn and Midnight variants use six basic attacks, three leap abilities, and a devastating uppercut skill. Their enraged state makes them unpredictable and more dangerous, so:

• Gather strong armor and weapons before venturing out at night
• Keep a bow and arrows for ranged damage when they leap
• Have healing potions ready—their attacks hit hard
• Avoid open fields where their leap attacks have maximum effectiveness
• Watch for animation cues before their uppercut to time dodges or blocks

The custom sounds will alert you to their presence, giving you precious seconds to prepare.
