Troubleshoot Recording Failures and Audio Cues

Verify Audio and Action Bar Feedback

When you start a recording, you should hear a distinct sound effect and see text appear in your action bar. If neither appears, check that your volume isn't muted and that action bar messages are enabled in your chat settings.

Check Flashback Mod Integration

Momentum Capture Engine depends on Flashback being installed and working correctly. Ensure Flashback is enabled and that your replay folder has write permissions. Test Flashback's manual recording to confirm it functions independently.

Diagnose Trigger Issues

If triggers aren't firing, verify they're enabled in the config menu. Some triggers require specific conditions—for example, "Player Hit" only activates in multiplayer or when fighting other players. Test in appropriate scenarios.

Clear Cache and Restart

If recordings fail silently, try deleting the mod's cache files and restarting Minecraft. Ensure you have adequate disk space; the mod won't record if your drive is full.
