Understanding Texture Coverage

Modernity is designed to backport modern textures to legacy versions while maintaining mod compatibility. However, not every mod block may have a custom texture included. Blocks without specific textures will fall back to default or placeholder appearances.

Checking for Mod Support

Before installing, verify which mods Modernity officially supports by reviewing the pack documentation. Popular mods are prioritized, but niche or newer mods may not have custom textures yet.

Handling Unsupported Blocks

If you notice mod blocks with missing or mismatched textures:

1. Check if the mod is listed in the pack's supported mods

2. Consider using additional texture packs alongside Modernity for unsupported mods

3. Report missing textures to the pack maintainers if you believe they should be included

You can layer multiple resource packs by placing them in your resource packs folder and ordering them in the resource pack menu—packs higher in the list take priority.
