Customize Texture Variants for Your World

Accessing Texture Options

Modernity Resource Pack includes optional texture variants for many blocks and items. To use alternate versions, open your resource pack folder and navigate to the assets directory where texture files are stored.

Selecting Your Preferred Textures

Many blocks have multiple texture options available. Look for folders or files labeled with variant names (such as different wood styles, stone patterns, or metal finishes). You can enable or disable specific texture variants by:

1. Locating the texture file you want to modify

2. Checking if there are numbered or named variants in the same folder

3. Renaming or swapping files to use your preferred version

Some packs include a separate configuration file or folder structure that lets you choose variants more easily—check the pack's root directory for any setup instructions.

Testing Your Changes

After making changes, reload your resource packs in-game by pressing F3 + T (or navigating to Options > Resource Packs > Reload). Load a world and verify that your chosen textures appear correctly on blocks and items.
