Set Up Your First Night Base in the Mansion

Secure a Bedroom and Storage

When you first spawn, explore the mansion's interior to identify a suitable bedroom on an upper floor—this keeps you away from ground-level mob entry points. Choose a room with a door you can close and a bed frame or crafting space nearby.

Next, claim a storage room. Look for a chamber with multiple corners or wall space where you can place chests. Ground-floor rooms near the kitchen or utility areas work well since you'll pass through them regularly.

Prepare for Nightfall

Before dusk, craft a bed using wool and planks if one isn't already available in your chosen bedroom. Place torches along the mansion's interior hallways and stairwells to prevent mob spawning indoors.

Gather any food items visible in the mansion (apples, seeds, or crops) and store them in your designated chest. If the mansion has no immediate food source, venture to nearby cliffs to gather seeds or hunt animals before sunset.

Close all exterior doors and windows as night approaches. Sleep in your bed to skip the night and set your spawn point inside the mansion.
