Harvest Resources from the Surrounding Cliffs

Identify Safe Gathering Routes

The cliffs surrounding the mansion contain stone, dirt, gravel, and ore deposits. Start by exploring the cliff faces adjacent to the mansion's exits—these are closest and safest for early-game runs.

Mark dangerous drop-offs with torches or blocks so you don't accidentally fall while gathering. Bring a pickaxe (wood or stone) and a shovel to efficiently collect materials.

Gather Strategically

Prioritize stone and wood first—you'll need these for tools and construction. Mine exposed ore veins you spot (coal, iron, copper) but don't dig too deep into cliff faces without proper support blocks beneath you.

Collect dirt and gravel from cliff sides to use for building ramps or reinforcing unstable edges. Return to the mansion regularly to deposit heavy materials in your storage chest.

Avoid mining directly below your feet or creating large overhangs that might collapse. Always place a block beneath you before mining downward on steep terrain.
